Honey OATH Hive 33mm thick walls

This hive is identical to our standard Honey OATH but with the wall thickness upgraded from 25 to 33 mm. We believe the standard 25mm walls are ideal but some stingless bee keepers prefer the thicker walls for climates with extremes of heat and cold.
We keep the same external dimensions (footprint 280 x 200 mm), but the thicker walls reduce the internal volume from 8.5 to internal volume: 7 Litres. The nett weight is increased from 4.5 to 5.5kg.
Made from A grade, New Zealand radiata pine.
You can use this box to divide any standard OATH, the internal dimensions will not align perfectly, but this should not be a problem.
Empty honey OATH hives come with 2 x permanent plastic straps + buckles, and 1 x adjustable luggage strap.
