A premium hive for Australian native stingless bees. Made of Western Red Cedar, 25 mm thick, this hive is a softwood so an excellent insulator though, unlike most softwoods, it is also very durable in exterior conditions. The end grain has been totally eliminated to reduce timber splitting. The joints are double-double-glued, and the box has a textured finish treated with boiled linseed oil.

This box has all the features of a classic honey OATH hive including split bars, a clear brood excluder, honey super and landing board.
